4 cups corn meal
½ cup flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 ½ teaspoons salt
6 Tablespoons oil
4 eggs
2 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Mix dry ingredients, add wet and mix. Bake in a greased 13x9 pan for 25 minutes.

Can halve this recipe, pour into hot, greased cast iron skillet and cook in the oven until crispy on the outside and still tender on the inside, cut into wedges and serve with dinner.

This makes one 13x9 pan of cornbread, needed for Grandma's Cornbread Dressing for Turkey recipe.
Grandma Sue was offended that anyone would consider putting sugar in cornbread, and didn't approve much of any white flour.
