1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Filling and frosting:
10 oz. maraschino cherries
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. sweetened condensed milk
4 tsp. cherry juice
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Shape into 1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Press down center with thumb. Place cherry in center. Melt together milk, chocolate chips and cherry juice. Spoon 1 tsp. of frosting over cherry. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.
