Ingredients:
12 c ripe organic strawberries
12 c sugar
3 boxes of Sure-Jell
freezer containers

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the stems off the the strawberries. Cut in half and rinse well. Place in large bowl. Crush the strawberries. I use a potato masher and really smash them, then a hand mixer. Add sugar and stir well. Let stand for about 1/2 hour or until it appears the sugar has dissolved. In a small saucepan bring 1 cup water and Sure-Jell to a full boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and pour into strawberries. Stir for about 2 minutes. Pour into your freezer containers and seal well. Let set for 24 hours, then put it in the freezer. It is ready to use as soon as it sets and freezes.
