2 eggs lightly beaten
1 c sugar
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 c cooking oil
1 tsp vanilla
4 c flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs, sugar, nutmeg, oil & vanilla. Sift together flour, bp, soda & salt. Stir dry ingredients into egg mixture in 3rds alterning with buttermilk.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface using a well flourd rolling pin to a thickness of 1/2 -3/4. Cut doughnuts and fry in lard.
