1 c. butter
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. chopped walnuts
12 oz. jar apricot or peach jam
2 tsp. sugar
1/3 c. confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and cream cheese. Sift flour and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture. Chill 2 to 3 hours. Mix nuts, jam and 2 tsp. sugar. Divide dough into 4 equal parts; work with 1/4 at a time; refrigerate remaining dough. Roll dough very thin (1/16-inch) on lightly floured cloth covered board. Cut 2-inch square and place 1teaspoon of nut mixture in center of square. Top with a second square of dough. Press edges together with floured fork times. Bake at 360º for 15-20 minutes,until slightly brown. Cool and sprinkle tops with confectioner sugar.
