4 slices toasted bread
2 tsp butter or oleo
1/3 c packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 c raisins
3 eggs, beaten
1/3 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
2 1/2 c scalded milk

Directions:
Directions:
Butter toast - sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut each into fourths. Put in 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins. Mix egg, sugar, vanilla and salt. Slowly stir in scalded milk. Pour over toast. Place dish in a larger pan in 1 inch of hot water. Bake at 350° F for 65 to 70 minutes.
