2 c flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 c shortening
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg - beaten
1 c chopped nuts
1 c un-pealed apple, chopped
1 c raisins
1/4 c apple juice from chopped apples
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, salt, and soda together. Mix shortening, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and egg in mixing bowl. Stir in half of the flour mixture. Add nuts, apples and raisins. Blend in juice, then the rest of the flour mix. Put teaspoonful drops on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° F for 11-14 minutes.
