3 eggs, beaten
1 cup raisins
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup butter
½ cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp soda
2 cups oatmeal
¾ cup pecans
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Combine eggs, raisins and vanilla, let stand 1 hour with plastic wrap.

2. Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, salt, cinnamon and soda to sugar mixture. Mix. Blend in egg-raisin mixture and oatmeal and pecans.

3. Dough is stiff, drop by teaspoonful on ungreased sheet

Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.

Yields 6 dozen.
