1 1/2 lb tender beef steak
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 beef bouillon cubes
1 cup boiling water
1 Tbsp butter
2 tsp flour
2 Tbsp sour cream
2 Tbsp tomato puree
2 Tbsp butter
1 small onion, minced

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut beef in thin strips about 1 1/2" long. Sprinkle strips with salt and pepper. Let stand for two hours.

2. Pour boiling water over bouillon cube, let stand until room temp.

3. When ready to cook, melt Tbsp. butter in skillet; gradually work in the flour, cook and stir until the paste is lightly browned.

4. Slowly stir in the bouillon and cook until thickened.

5. Pour sauce into the top of a double boiler over boiling water. Alternately, stir in sour cream and tomato puree.

6. Let mixture cook while you melt remaining 2 Tbsp. butter in a skillet. Add onion and meat, browning the pieces of meat quickly.

7. Add browned meat to the sauce and cook another 10 minutes.

8. Serve over rice or noodles.
