2 packages Phyllo Dough
1 lb Butter
2 c White Sugar
1 c Crisco
3 c Chopped Walnuts
1/2 c Honey
1 c Water
2 T Lemon Juice

Directions:
Directions:
1) Melt butter and criso together in small saucepan
2) Using a soft bristled, clean paintbrush, brush a small layer of mixture onto bottom of 9x13 pan. Add 3 sheets phyllo dough.
3) Brush mixture onto dough, lightly sprinkle chopped nuts, and add 1-2 sheets of dough. Repeat this process until all the dough is used.
4) Preheat oven to 350º; in a small saucepan, melt honey, sugar, water, and lemon juice.
5) Cut baklava into diamond shapes, careful not to rip the phyllo.
6) Pour honey mixture evenly over the dough.
7) Bake until nicely browned, about 40min. Let sit (if you can) for a day to let flavors meld.
