4-8 lb. pork shoulder butt
7-9 ti leaves
Hawaiian salt
liquid smoke

Directions:
Directions:
1. Wash ti leaves and arrange them in a circular pattern, overlapping leaves.
2. Score the pork on both sides and rub generously with salt and liquid smoke.
3. Place it in the center of the ti leaves and wrap it completely.
4. Tie securely with string and then wrap it in foil to prevent it from drying.
5. Bake at 450º for 1 hour and then at 400º for 3-4 hours depending on the size of the roast.
