2 lbs. ground beef and pork, mixed
1 large onions
1 egg
1 c. instant rice
2 heads cabbage
pkg. of sliced ham
large can of sauerkraut
tomato soup
salt & pepper
olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
1) Place cabbage in large pot of hot water. Remove leaves as they soften. Remove and discard core.
2) Cut up onions; saute' in oil.
3. Combine meat, onions, instant rice, eggs, salt & pepper.
4. Remove center vein from cabbage leaves.
5. Place meat mixture on leaves and roll up.
6. Line the bottom of a large pot with sauerkraut. Place filled rolls on top, add ham, and cover top with sauerkraut.
7. Dilute tomato soup and add to top. Do not over-fill pot.
8. Cover and cook very slowly, 2-3 hours, on low heat.
