2-3 lbs rolled oats
2 cups coconut
2 cups nuts (cashews, almonds, sunflower seeds)
2 cups wheat germ
1 tbsp salt

1 1/2 cups oil
2/3 cups water
3 tbsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups honey

Directions:
Directions:
Mix rolled oats, coconut, nuts, wheat germ and salt in bowl and set aside.
In separate bowl mix oil, water, vanilla, honey. Mix thoroughly with a beater.
Pour mixture over oats mixture and mix well. Spread onto a cookie sheet and place in the oven and bake at 250 degrees for about 1 1/12 hours until a light golden brown.
Turn mixture about every 10-15 minutes to keep from burning. Store in a closed container in a cool dry place.

This was the granola my grandma used to make. Although we have the recipe now it just isn't the same but still very delicious. Hope you enjoy.
