Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 lb. Artificial crab meat. (Don’t frown like that. This crab meat works for this recipe and costs a lot less. When people start to gobble it up, you will be happy that it didn’t cost $14.00 a pound.)
2 oz. Jar of capers, drained
3/4 cup Hellmann’s or best foods mayonnaise (not Kraft or anything else-NADA)
1/2 cup buttered breadcrumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the crab mean and mayo in a medium sized bowl. Fold in the capers and top with the buttered breadcrumbs.
Bake in the 350 degree oven until the top is golden brown. Serve on Melba toast.

Personal Notes:
Easy, quick and a gourmet delight!!! This is a filling, rich appetizer, so if you are having a crowd, plan accordingly and double it.
*This is the most popular appetizer I have ever made. I have never served it to anyone who did not come flying back for more.
