9 inch baked pastry shell
1 package gelatin
¾ c. brown sugar
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
3 eggs (separated)
¾ c. milk (scalded)
16 oz. can of pumpkin
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg together.
2. Add yolks and milk to the above mixture over medium heat until boiling.
3. Add pumpkin and lemon juice to mixture and blend. Cool.
4. Beat whites with 1/8 tsp. salt until frothy.
5. Add sugar slowly and beat until shiny stiff peaks form.
6. Fold into cooled pumpkin mixture until well blended.
7. Pour into baked pie crust.
8. Serve with whipped cream.
