3 red onions, chopped
1 T butter
1 T paprika
1 tsp. vinegar
4 boneless chicken breast halves
salt and pepper
¼ tsp. sugar
2 tsp. flour
½ c chicken broth
½ c sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onions until tender in butter. Stir in paprika and cook until red. Add vinegar. Add chicken sprinkled with salt and pepper. Add sugar. Cover and cook slowly 20 minutes.

Sprinkle with flour. Add chicken broth. Cover and cook slowly until chicken is tender, about 20 to 30 minutes, adding more broth if necessary to keep chicken from sticking.

Add sour cream. Remove chicken from pot. Using blender, blend sauce until smooth. Add chicken and reheat.

I always double the sauce to ensure I have plenty since it is so good served over rice. This is a wonderful dinner to serve guest since it is yummy and can be made early in the day.
