1 c butter or margarine, softened
1/3 c sugar
2/3 c ground and blanched almonds
1 2/3 c flour
¼ tsp. salt
1 c confectioners’ sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together, thoroughly, the butter, sugar and almonds. Sift flour and salt; add to butter mixture; working in thoroughly. Chill dough.

Roll by hand to pencil thickness. Cut in 2 ½-inch lengths. Form into crescents on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees 14 to 16 minutes or until set but not brown. Cool on cookie sheet. While slightly warm, dip in mixture of confections’ sugar and cinnamon,
