¾ c sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. ground ginger
¼ tsp. ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk and mix well.

Pour into pie shell that has been pricked with a fork to prevent shrinkage. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees ; bake 40 to 50 minutes until knife inserted near center of pie comes out clean. Cool 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
