3 cups spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 cups water
15 ounces ricotta cheese - or cottage cheese
8 ounces mozzarella or monteray jack - shredded and divided

1/4 tea black pepper
9 pieces uncooked lasagna

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a 3 quart saucepan brown hamburger and drain. Add spaghetti sauce and water ( omit water if noodles are precooked.) Simmer about 10 minutes. In bowl, stir ricotta. 1/2 of mozzarella, parmesan, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper. Pour about 1 cup of sauce on bottom of a 13 X 9 baking dish. Arrange 3 uncooked pasta pieces lengthwise over sauce. Cover with 1 cup of the sauce. Spread 1/2 of the cheese mixture over the sauce. Repeat layers of noodles, sauce, and cheese. Top with layer of lasagna noodles and remaining sauce. Sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake an additional 15 minutes. Allow to stand 10 minutes before cutting. Just leave off the water if you are using cooked noodles. I generally cook my noodles first.
