Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Amount Measure
1 pound ground beef - brown and drain
1 pound regular sausage - brown and drain
1/2 cup brown sugar - add and stir
1 small can tomato paste - add and stir
4 cans tomato soup - add and stir
1 reg. can tomato sauce - add and stir
1 ounce Italian seasoning - add and stir
1/2 ounce onion powder - add and stir
1/2 ounce garlic powder - add and stir
1/2 teaspoon salt - add and stir

Directions:
Directions:
Brown, mix and drain the sausage and ground beef together. Brown in the brown sugar. Be certain to get rid of any lumps of sugar. Add the tomato soup, sauce and paste. Add the spices. Getting the spices right is the trick to the flavor; spice to taste adding as needed. The Italian Seasoning is the primary spice. Salt to taste. The spice listing is just an estimate. I usually have to work with the spices to get the right flavoring. I suspect that the amount of spices listed is low. One can add water to get the sauce to the desired consistency. Simmer until ready to serve. Serve over spaghetti. The sauce is better the second day. It can be frozen for later use.

This recipe came from Jim Kerbaugh. Jon modified it to his taste. Others should do the same. (Jim Kerbaugh is Cheryl Pack's brother.)
