Cream together:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg or 2 egg yolks

Add:
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Sift together:
1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Add to sugar mixture.

Directions:
Directions:
Refrigerate dough for 3-4 hours or overnight.
Roll in balls and flatten top with glass dipped in sugar.

Bake in 375º oven 8-10 minutes.
