¼ c butter or margarine, softened
1 1/3 c sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

2 c flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
¾ tsp. salt

1 c sour cream
1 cup banana (2 medium), mashed
½ c walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time; add vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream ending with dry ingredients. Add chopped nuts and mashed bananas; mix until blended. Bake in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Frost with the following:

½ c butter
1/4 c light cream
¾ c brown sugar, tightly packed
¾ c coconut

Melt butter in saucepan; add sugar, cream and coconut. Spread on warm cake. Broil until coconut is brown.
