1 cup + 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1/4 cup + 1/2 tsp. corn syrup
1/4 lb butter
1/8 tsp. salt
3 quarts popped popcorn
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
1) In saucepan melt brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, cream of tartar, and salt.

2) Heat to a boiling, stir to hard ball stage.

3) Remove from heat and stir in baking soda quickly, add nuts if desire, and pour over popped corn. Bake at 200º for 30 minutes, stirring 2-3 times.
