Sukiyaki Sauce-
1 1/2 c. shoyu
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. mirin
1 1/2 tsp. ajinomoto
{Combine and mix well. Store in a glass jar and use as a base.}

1 1/2 c. sukiyaki sauce
1/4 c. broth
1 c. onion (sliced)
1 lb. chicken or beef (thinly sliced)
1 c. bamboo shoots (sliced)
1/2 block tofu (cubed)
1/2 c. mushrooms (sliced)
1/2 bunch long rice (softened)

Directions:

1. Combine sauce and broth in a skillet.
2. Arrange onions, meat, bamboo shoots, tofu, mushrooms, and long rice attractively in sauce.
3. Cook 3-4 minutes and spoon sauce over ingredients while cooking.
4. Add watercress and onions before serving.
