1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup "dark" or "European" cocoa
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 cup 1/2 & 1/2
pinch of salt
1/2 - 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in small saucepan. Add sugar, cocoa, brown sugar, 1/2 & 1/2 and salt and bring to boil, stirring constantly. Once it comes to a boil, reduce heat immediately to medium and continue cooking 2 - 3 minutes more. Remove from heat and let cool 10 minutes. Add vanilla and stir. Serve warm over ice cream (or anything, really!)

Sauce can be stored in a jar in fridge and heated in microwave for 20 seconds, but we never have much leftover to to that...
