3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 cup raisins
2/3 cup melted shortening
1 egg beaten
3/4 cup molasses
1 tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Combine oats and raisins. Sift the flour mixture over the top. Combine in bowl shortening, egg, molasses, and milk. Pour over dry ingredients; mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350º 8 to 12 minutes.
