2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Butter
1 Cup Dates
1 Cup Chopped Nuts
1 Cup Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 3 ingredients and cook until soft ball stage. Add dates. Continue cooking until thick. Remove from heat. Add nuts and coconut. Stir until thick as cookie dough. Turn on to cloth dipped in cold water. Form into long rolls about 1 1/2" in diameter. Cool and cut into slices. .
