1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 cup flour
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar. Blend in 1 egg. Sift together salt, baking powder and 2 cup flour. Blend into mixture vanilla.

For extra sparkle and color, glaze your cookies using this simple recipe... Blend together 3/4 cup sifted confectioners sugar and 3 - 4 tsp water and coloring. While cookies are still warm brush with glaze.
