Personal Notes:
This recipe was given to me by Margene Pendelton. A neighbor since I was in the 9th grade. She was a good friend of my mother and I used to tend her children. We bought my mom & dad’s house once we had Tammy, Greg and Ron. We still live in the same place, and have since had Julie, Ken & Jeff. Margene and her husband Dale are like our family. She was one of my counselors when I was Relief Society President. We made her pecan rolls and gave them to the sisters in RS for Christmas. Margene and Dale give us homemade candy for Christmas still.
