9" unbaked pie shell
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup packed sugar dark brown
3 eggs
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 cup heaping pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Combine corn syrup, sugar, eggs, butter, salt and vanilla. Mix well.
Pour into unbaked pie shell
Sprinkle pecans on top
Bake 50 minutes

This is the pie that Memaw always cooked for me. Good luck getting it to taste like hers. I think she leaves an ingredient out when she gives us a recipe. Because it never taste just like hers.
