1 1/2 cups grits
6 cups water
1 pound sharp cheddar cheese
3 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 tsp savory salt
1 tsp regular salt
1 tsp paprika
3-4 drops tobasco

Directions:
Directions:
Cook grits in boiling water until all the water is absorbed and mixture becomes thick. Immediately add grated cheese, butter, salts and tobasco. Mix well. Add eggs and stir well. Pour into greased baking dish (8 x 12). Bake 1 hour 350 degrees. About 10 minutes before baking time is up, sprinkle paprika on top.

Can be baked 1 hour at 300 degrees, refrigerated and placed in the oven again next day at 300.
