3 Tbsp olive oil
2 cups chopped onion
1 1.5-lb bunch broccoli, in 1.5b inch pieces
1 tsp salt
1 red or yellow pepper, cut into 1.5 inch strips
2 cups of water or vegetable broth
2 Tbsp flour
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup Nicoise olives(kalamata can sub)
6 large garlic cloves, minced
1/2-3/4 lb pasta (olive oil for pasta)
Parmesan and black pepper for top
handful lightly toasted pine nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Boil pasta. Heat olive oil in large deep skillet or Dutch oven. Add onion, sauté until very soft (10-15 minutes) Add broccoli and salt and sauté another 10 minutes, until broccoli tender. Add bell pepper and stir. Saute about 5 minutes longer. Add water or broth and increase heat until it boils. Lower heat to medium and sprinkle in flour, whisking until dissolved. Stir in tomatoes, olives, garlic. Keep sauce warm while pasta cooks. Drain pasta and toss with olive oil. Transfer to serving dish. Pour in the sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan, black pepper and pine nuts. Serve hot.
