Sweet and Savory Dates

30 large dried dates
10 slices of bacon or pancetta
3 oz. Manchego cheese, cut into small cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat barbeque grill or broiler.
Slice each date on the long side and remove pit.
Fill with cheese cube, close.
Wrap with 1/3 strip of bacon or pancetta.
Secure with toothpick or rosemary twig.

Grill or broil under medium heat until bacon is browned
turning once to brown evenly.
