Ingredients:  
1 lb lean hamburger meat
1 onion, chopped
1 c diced carrots
1/3 c water
Salt and pepper
2 T bisto
1 c cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients into a pan. Bring to a boil while stirring and separating the hamburger. Reduce heat, put on a lid and simmer over a low heat for about 30 minutes.

Mix bisto with water to turn into a smooth paste. Add to mince and stir to mix. Continue cooking mince until bisto thickens the mixture slightly.

Can serve with potatoes, put in a pie crust and bake for mince pie, or use as the meat for shepherds pie.
