1 1/2 tablespoons poppy seed
3/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 1/2 cups salad oil
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 tablespoons dry mustard shake well or put in blender a few seconds. That will keep the vinegar and oil from separating. Add about six or seven sliced white mushrooms and one large Bermuda onion thinly sliced. Put in large jar and refrigerate for one day or overnight.

1 1/2 packages of spinach one head red leaf lettuce, some iceberg for more color, three-quarter pound Swiss cheese or mozzarella grated 1 cup small curd cottage cheese rinsed in a strainer 1/2 pound bacon Fried crisp and broken up.
Don't mix the salad altogether until right before serving.
