Ingredients:
2 gallons water
2 cups kosher salt
3 tsp crushed garlic
1/2 Tbsp black pepper
1Tbsp rosemary
1 Tbsp. thyme
1 Tbsp. sage
onions

Directions:
Mix it all together and get a bag big enough to fit your turkey in. I use a garbage bag. Put the turkey in, after you take everything out of the insides. Close up tight and let sit overnight somewhere cool. In the Midwest the garage is fine!

Personal Notes:
What category is turkey anyway?

I never cook a turkey without brining first! It is so moist! You can add anything you want to the brine - if you like sweet add honey, apples etc, etc, etc, be creative, the possibilities are endless!
