1 small head cabbage (about 2 lb)
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 cup cooked rice (1/2 cup raw)
garlic powder
pepper
2-3 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 can tomato soup mixed with
1 small can tomato sauce

Directions:

Shred raw cabbage. Place half of cabbage in bottom of 9 x 9 casserole dish (like corning ware) Sprinkle with red wine vinegar. Spoon 1/2 cup sauce mixture over cabbage.

Mix ground meat with cooked rice, dry onion soup mix, and seasonings.
Spread meat mixture over cabbage and pat down, making sure it is evenly
spread over cabbage.

Spread remaining cabbage over rice/meat mixture. Pour remaining soup mixture over top. Bake 350º for 2-1/2 hours or until cabbage is very soft and the top is brown.

This is the lazy man's stuffed cabbage. It is so quick to put together and is delicious with mashed potatoes. There's no frying or boiling involved.
