1 3/4 cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Oleo
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1/2 cup White Sugar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
Chocolate Stars

Rose also adds:
1/2 C. Crisco
2 T. Milk

Susie's directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Mix dry ingredients together. In separate bowl, cream peanut butter, oleo and sugars. Add in egg and vanilla, beat well. Slowly add in dry ingredients. Roll dough into quarter sized balls, then roll each ball in sugar. Place dough balls on baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Top cookies with a chocolate star and bake for an additional 2 minutes.

Rose's directions:
Mix together. Roll into marble sized dough balls. Roll balls in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375º for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and add star. Return to oven bake an additional 2 minutes.

Rose's Variations: Could roll in colored sugar. Or no peanut butter and replace with extra flour.
