1 cup Crisco
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
¾ cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla, lemon or almond flavoring
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together Crisco, sugar and eggs until light & smooth. Blend in milk, soda, 1 cup flour, baking powder, vanilla and salt. Add 4 cups of flour. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Roll out on floured board and cut. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 350 degrees.
