4 cups water
½ cup vinegar
1 2/3 cup of sugar
3 Tbsps butter
2 Tbsps of cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Heat to boiling: water, vinegar, sugar, and butter. Pour half into 8 X 12 X 12 inch pan. Cover with piecrust. Place under broiler until crust is browned. Pour in remaining liquid; cover with second half of piecrust. Sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter. (I usually make at least 3 layers of liquid and crust). Bake at 325 - 350 for at least 30 minutes or until browned to suit. Enjoy!
