Recipe directions:
First Layer (Bottom layer)
1 stick of butter or margarine melted
1 Cup of flour + 1 tablespoon of flour
1/4 cup of chopped pecans
Suggested way to prepare the bottom layer:
Melt your butter in a separate pan. Place the flour and pecan mixture or if you prefer to try and use Graham Cracker crumb mix in the actual pan that you will use. The traditional pan size is 9x13". Add the butter or margarine to the mix in the pan to mash down to cover the entire pan. It's like layering crust on the inside of the pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes or a nice brown color. Let cool before adding the second layer. To assure it's nice and cool I will either allow it to set for awhile or place in the refrigerator.

Second Layer
1 - 8oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese (you can use the low-fat version too)
1 Cup of Powdered Sugar
1 Cup of Cool Whip (24 1/2 oz size)
Allow the Philadelphia Cream Cheese to soften by unwrapping and placing it in a mixing bowl; once the cheese is soften enough, add the powdered sugar and coo; whip. Mix all together and put on the FIRST BOTTOM LAYER. Spread all over the bottom layer and then refrigerate while you work on the next layer.

Third Layer
2 Boxes of Instant Vanilla Pudding (or any choice of instant pudding that you like)
3 Cups of Milk
Mix for 10 minutes and afterwards, add this onto the SECOND LAYER

4th and Final Layer
Spread the rest of the Cool Whip on top, sprinkle with the remaining pecans and refrigerate for an hour or more. You can also place in the freezer if you're going to have as a desert for a party or guest later. Then you can take it out in time to thaw out or place it in the regular refrigerator.
