2 ½ cups warm water
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons dry yeast
1 Tablespoon salt
2 Tablespoons Oil
6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl stir together water, sugar and yeast until dissolved. Stir in slat, oil and 3 cups of flour. Beat vigorously with spoon. Stir in remaining 3 cups of flour. Leave spoon in batter. Rest 10 minutes and stir down. Rest 10 minutes and stir down. Repeat until stirred down 5 times. Turn dough onto a floured board. Knead 2-3 times. Divide into 2 parts. Roll each into 9 x 12 rectangle, roll up like jelly roll. Pinch edge to seal. Place on cookie sheet. Rise 30 minutes. Score tops of bread with a sharp knife 3 times at an angle and brush with lightly beaten whole egg. Bake at 400 Degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
Yields 2 loaves
