1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. any nut, finely cut (I prefer walnuts)
1 c. dates, finely cut

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients. Then add flour, baking powder, salt, dates and nuts (last). Spread in a greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 350º for 35 minutes. Cut into bars and sprinkle with powdered sugar while slightly warm.
