4 cups flour
1.5 t baking soda
1.5 t baking powder
1 T sugar (less if you think that is TOO MUCH!)
2 cups buttermilk (minus a swig or two -- YUM YUM!)
1 cup raisins

mix dry ingredients
make a well in the center
add buttermilk to the well
mix all together with your freshly washed hands
form into rounds
cut a cross in the top and say a blessing over the bread

cook at 325º X 55 min if using pure convection
cook at 375º X 55 min if using conventional ovend
