1 Dry Yellow Cake Mix
1 (20 oz.) Can Crushed Pineapple (half drained)
1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
2 Sticks Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Pour pineapple and pie filling into 9x13 cake pan. Spread flat. Evenly sprinkle cake mix over fruit, breaking up large clumps. Slice butter into 1/4th inch pats and lay on cake mix.

Bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until lightly brown on top.

This cake came from my grandmother, who grew up in an era when using prepared ingredients was still a novelty. I keep all these ingredients on hand for a quick dessert for church and family functions. Grandma called it ‘dump cake’ because you dump everything together, but I just call it yummy!
