2 C. Sugar
2/3 C. Cocoa
3/4 C. Shortening
2 Eggs
1 C. Sour milk ( add 1 Tsp of Vinegar 1 C. milk)
1 Tbs Baking Powder
2 1/2 C Flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tbs Vanilla
1 C. Hot water
2 Tbs baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream Sugar and shortening.
Add eggs one at a time and beat
Add vanilla.
Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Add flour mixture alternately with sour milk, then add 1 cup hot water mixed with 2 Tbs baking soda. (mix in bigger container than 1 C. as soda bubbles)

Bake in 3 layers or 1 large long cake pan. Bake at 350º oven for about 50 min for a big pan.
