4 slices sliced bacon, diced
1/2 medium onion, diced
3 cans cut green beans, undrained
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
In medium saucepan, fry bacon until fat is rendered out. Add onion and get all brown bits from bottom of pan. Cook onion until tender. Keeping heat under pan going fairly high, add all three cans green beans, with liquid. Cover and boil rapidly until all liquid has evaporated from beans. Very GOOD!

I have actually boiled these beans dry before and added water from the tap, shaken the pan a little and the beans were still delicious! Granny must have known I don't pay much attention to things when they cook for a long time!!!
