Warm Apple Pie Filling:
1 peeled, cored and finely chopped Granny Smith apple
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
15 Athens Mini Fillo Shells (1 box)
1/4 c. thawed whipped topping, for garnish

Cinnamon Caramel Sauce:
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. unsalted butter
1/2 c. hot water
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a medium skillet, saute apples, walnuts, brown sugar and butter over low heat until apples are tender, stirring frequiently. Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon. Set Aside.

2. To Make Cinnamon Caramel Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat add brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir to combine. Whisk in the hot water and cook until sauce is slightly thickened. Add in the butter and cook an additional 8-10 minutes till sauce is thick and creamy.

3. spoon 1 tablespoon of apple mixture into each fillo shell. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon caramel sauce over apple mixture. Divide 1/4 c. whipped topping over each apple pie for garnish. Enjoy!
