1 c. flour
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
2/3 c. hot water
1 c. dark molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
1 beaten egg
1 8-9 inch unbaked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 3 ingredients into crumbs. Set aside 1/2 of this mixture. Combine hot water and molasses. Add baking soda and egg. Fold half of the crumbs into this mixture. DO NOT BEAT. Pour into pie shell and sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Bake at 400º for 15 minutes. Then reduce 325º for 20-30 minutes.
