Boil 1 gallon water 3/4 cup canning salt
Add 1 cup vinegar
Pack cucumbers in jars with dill and garlic.
Pour hot brine over the pickles.
Seal - put jars in hot water bath - bring to boiling point - Remove jars from water - set on thick dry towel to cool.
